Silhoutopia, a series of photographs and an installation piece, took as its inspiration the World's Fairs that took place in the 20th Century. It investigates and makes manifest a space where a 'hauntology' exists between past and future; this is finally grounded in the 'drawing' on the wall behind the installation, a silhouette cast by the light of a projector.
The 3-D part of of the installation is both a silhouette and a 'projector', because it is based on architectural models that are usually made to visualise how a 'project' will look when built.
