EDUCATION AND AWARDS:

Fourth Level:

June 2012                                                    Completed part-time (course runs once a month for 2 days) Level 8 Certificate in Arts in Group Facilitation at C.I.T (Crawford School of Art, Cork City). 

April 2011:                                                   Awarded MA Visual Arts Practice (MAVis.) from IADT, Dun Laoghaire on an art-making pathway. MA awarded by HETAC.

Award:

May 2009                                                     Awarded Visual Artists Bursary by The Arts Council of Ireland, with regards to the continuation of the project Silhoutopia.

Third Level:

April ‘08                                                       Awarded first class honours in BA (Hons.) in Visual Arts Practice at IADT Dun Laoghaire. Degree is awarded by HETAC.

Sept. ’99 to June ’01                                   Diploma in Interior Design from University of Wales.

Sept’ 96 – Dec ’97                                       Eighteen months completed in Degree in Architecture at D.I.T. Bolton St. Dublin (withdrew from course).

Exhibitions:

Nov. 2012                                                              Idionumina, an exhibition examining alternative spaces for the display of Contemporary Art. Exhibition curated by Deirdre Southey and Maria Tanner.

Feb. 2012:                                                              Picturing the Soul at The Bact Loft Gallery, Dublin 8.

July 2011                                                                Artwork (photograph) published in an edition of Dublin-based art publication The Fold, entitled The Future; The Fold is an occasional publication that gathers artists together on the ‘space of the page’ to consider a particular issue or theme.     

April 2011                                                              Participated in the 181st RHA Annual exhibition, with the  painting The Understanding (E1027).

Jan. 8th – Feb 4th 2011                                        Solo Exhibition: Space_scope, at the Mill Theatre Gallery, Dundrum.

 June 2010:                                                              Participated in the exhibition Public Gesture: Pirate Capital, an experimental public exhibiton as part of the MAVis. (MA Visual Arts Practice) programme at IADT Dun Laoghaire.

Feb 2009:                                                               Scribble Box at Bombhouse Gallery/Studios, Dublin 1.

 27^th March – 4^th April 2007:                              Participated in Speaking the Image, an exhibition exploring the meeting place of visual art and poetry curated by Irish poet Katie Donaven, at The Pavillion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, South County Dublin. Contributed one poem and one painting.

Feb. 2007                                                               Participated in the inaugeral and eponymous exhibition of the art collective                                                                                    Sixty-Point-Two, which took place at Dublin Civic Offices.
